Here’s a little something most people don’t know about me. I started to write at the age of ten. That was many years ago. The first book I’ve ever written was horribly done, yet I loved the progress of writing it.

 

Mainly, I write fantasy or horror. One of those will always be the main focus of my stories. Even if they have some other element to it. Lately, I’ve been focused on my soon to be released novel called Mind Over Mindness. It mixes fantasy and psychological horror together give the best of both worlds.

 

In 2011, I joined the writing site Wattpad and shared my first story with the world. From there I’ve been posting and taking down stories over these last few years. Writing and seeing other people feedback as you do so... I don’t think there is a better rush than that.

 

Most of my fans know me under my pen names A. Muse or Ezra Winn. My actual name is Ashley Chamblee. I came up with the pen names on Wattpad testing out a theory I had that male writers do better than female. I’m happy to say that I was wrong but I still love all the fans I’ve gained over the last few years.

 

I feel like writing isn’t a talent. It’s a skill. With practice, just like any skill, you can become better at it. At the same time, I feel like you can never master writing. No matter how good I am or get there is always room to be better. With that thought, I want to become an even better writer than I was at ten than I am now than I will be in another fifteen years.

 

I’m currently working to publish my novel Mind Over Madness. In the coming months, you will see and hear a lot from me about that book. Start with blog entries that will be designed to promote the story and get you familiar with the characters inside.
